InDesign is the best tool to create business cards, newsletters, posters, and more. Graphic Designer Alison Talbert will show you how to combine vector illustrations, logos, photographs, and type to create dynamic looking layouts.
Whether you're looking to gear up a small business or add skills to your resume, this class will jump start your creativity. Learn fun and easy ways to import files from Photoshop and Illustrator to create a custom look. We will cover basic tools, importing graphics and images, page layout templates, and styling text.
For $80 you get 2 afternoons of instruction. Class is scheduled Apr 23 and Apr 24, 1:00-4:00 pm.
The class will be using InDesign CS5.5 on Windows 7 machines. The location of the class is in Lab 7 at ITT Technical Institute (see map.)
Your instructor Alison Talbert is a designer with a marketing and fine arts degree. She is also a new Mom! Alsion is an InDesign enthusiast, with professional experience as a advertising designer for in-house marketing. Alison is booster for creativity and instructed at both Imagine Art and the Austin School of Film.
